I served 8 years in the US Navy, most of which was in Meteorology and Oceanography. After leaving the service with an Honorable Discharge I learned how to do IT work and became employed by Comcast, and then Atlantic Broadband. After spending several years at a small software company, I was hired at as a Systems Analyst. From there I moved to being a Citrix Administrator, as well as the administrator for C-Cure 9000 and Imprivata OneSign.
